Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Inform new hires about their positions and respond to any inquiries they may have regarding duties

Assist newly hired employees with the necessary onboarding documentation (i.e., contracts, I-9, W-4), ensuring that documentation is accurately and quickly completed, while answering any questions regarding the documentation

Ensure all collected documentation is stored correctly
-
Work with IT to make sure new hires have the necessary equipment on their first day
-
Inform new hires what their first tasks are (e.g., activation of accounts)
-
Distribute instructions, rules, and passwords needed for systems required to tasks of their position (payroll and staffing systems)
-
Provide information about corporate rules and processes (employee handbook), as well as training resources
-
Describe any firm benefits programs, such as retirement plans and health insurance
-
Organize orientations, meet-and-greets with employees, and training sessions for new hires during their first few days at work
-
Assist new hires in becoming familiar with the company’s culture and mission
-
Prepare welcome packs with items like mugs, T-shirts, etc.

Greet new employees and show them around the workplace.

Welcome new hires formally, as team members, through “welcome new hires” emails
-
Check-in with new hires regularly to see how they’re settling into their new roles

Job Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Proficient knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook

Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented individual
