Job Description

A recruiting manager finds skilled, experienced Registered Nurses, and other licensed medical professionals, and places them on travel assignments at client facilities.  The recruiting manager uses a variety of tools to engage nurses, gather information, present assignment options, create and submit profiles, and prepared the nurse to start an assignment.  Once active, the recruiting manager builds and maintains a relationship with the Travel Nurse, to keep her on an active assignment for as long as possible. 

One year of verifiable employment, working in a professional office environment is preferred.  A recruiting manger must be tech savvy, motivated, and have excellent phone skills.  Previous inside sales experience is a plus.

Recruiting Manager’s Skills and Primary Responsibilities:

The Recruiting Manager will be required to make and take outbound and inbound calls. You will need to learn how to place, answer, and transfer calls, using a commercial telephone system.

You will be required to create, lookup, and update records in the company database. You will need to learn how to use our web based data entry system.

You will be required to communicate via phone, email, text, and various social media messaging platforms. Some advanced understanding of each of these technologies will be necessary.

You will need to become competent in making calculations and compiling information to complete the recruitment and placement process. This requires some experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, as well as Adobe Acrobat. 

You will be held accountable to minimum activity and performance standards.  This requires the ability to learn and comprehend our Travel Nurse recruitment process; including but not limited conforming the policies and executing the procedures that parallel that method.
