Marketing Coordinator


The Marketing Coordinator will be a key contributor to GHR Healthcare’s marketing team and located in the Plymouth Meeting, PA office.  This position is responsible for developing, executing and managing many of the company’s centralized marketing programs, systems and activities to help support the field organization’s candidate and client activities. 


The Marketing Coordinator will work cross functionally with marketing, IT, operations, and external vendors/partners to understand the marketing needs of the organization, and assist to meet those needs through five major categories of support: Job post strategy and execution; Social media support; Event coordination; Advertising specialties, Referral program coordination and serve as the GHR marketing liaison.


  1. Marketing Coordinator Key Responsibilities:

Job Post Strategy and Execution

  • Manage, provide daily support, and be the subject matter expert on all GHR career sites
  • Research and recommend new ways of using the Internet, social and networking sites, and other sourcing venues for successful recruitment
  • Develop expertise on job board content optimization techniques and effective writing styles
  • Where needed, write job posts for job boards, job distribution platforms and social media sites
  • Track, measure and analyze job board effectiveness and ROI
  • Research, recommend and manage third party vendors as identified
  • Create systems, processes, content libraries and other resources in support of the company’s job board/post activities


Social Media Support

  • Develop expertise, best practices and training materials on the use of social media networks for effective candidate recruitment advertising on both a national and local level
  • Generate excitement, promote brand use, and provide quality customer service in support of the field organization’s use of social media for recruiting
  • Create and support the Social Media/Content Manager’s content development efforts, developing social posts, advertising support, and other content needs as possible


Event Coordination

  • Work cross functionally with sales, operations, and external vendors to plan, coordinate and manage the marketing logistics for all tradeshows and conventions
  • Develop best practices, scheduling systems and event guide to help the company gain the most value from each event


Rewards and Referral Program Coordination

  • Coordinate and manage the day-in and day-out activities for the company’s Candidate Reward and Recognition Program and Candidate Referral Program
  • Develop and maintain tracking and internal utilization of these tools
  • Assist in creating annual program goas, budgets and service partner reviews




Serve as GHR Marketing Liaison

  • The Marketing Coordinator will act as the day-in, day-out marketing liaison for all GHR Divisions and other GHR brands housed in Plymouth Meeting
  • Assist in coordinating marketing support and providing marketing recommendations and guidance as needed


Ad Specialties

  • Help to develop and manage the GHR ad specialties program and online platform
  • Work with operations and other marketing team members to keep specialty inventory fresh, organized, and stocked


  1. Marketing Coordinator Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree in Journalism, Marketing, Business or related field


  • 3 to 5 years (or equivalent) of relevant marketing, social media and content development; recruiting experience is a plus


  • Excellent written and verbal communications (writing samples will be requested)


  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work across a variety of projects simultaneously


  • Ability to move quickly and manage multiple responsibilities, while remaining detailed oriented


  • Collaborative, positive work style well suited for a team-oriented environment, ability to build strong distance-based relationships with peers and upper management


  • Familiarity with SEO and content optimization strategy and best practices


  • Ability to understand complex subject matter and translate into easy to consume content


  • Self-starter and leader with a “can-do” attitude, taking initiative and bringing people together


  • Solid project management skills, able to manage multiple assignments and a fast-paced environment
